The last few months, every time I start Chromecast from the YouTube app, I can not add a song to playlist or que, or start a new video without first stopping the Chromecast and then starting it again.
I'm using a Samsung S23 with latest software.
Any thoughts how to bring back the full ability of this workflow?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. Based on your description, it seems that your Chromecast device is working as intended. The Chromecast device’s task is to cast, and as long as it’s doing that, it knows it has done its job. Features such as captions, subtitles, language, content controls, etc. are all coded in the app, which may not translate or transfer upon casting. I suggest you give our friends at the YouTube Help Community a shout. Different users may already know how to make this work and must have shared it. You can directly reach out to YouTube Help for immediate or live assistance from their support team.
