Hi, I am suddenly having problems streaming one app - and only one - YouTube TV to a TV that is NOT a smart TV. It works but breaks up to the point where I don't watch it. The picture starts out clear then goes blurry and becomes clear again. The quality is not good and this is a sudden change for no apparent reason. I am having no problems with other apps like Netflix, Hulu and Peacock. I have three TVs set up with a Chromecast and it's happening on all TVs. My husband has the YouTube app on his phone too and it has the same problems. YouTube TV is fine on our smart TV, so it must be something with the Chromecasts.
This is what I have already tried:
- updated all software on all devices being used (chromecast/wifi)
- checked my internet connection/speed/etc.
- restarted all devices
- factory reset the Chromecasts
- uninstalled the YouTube TV app on my iPhone and reinstalled
I have an open case with YouTube TV but haven't heard anything back in a week. Any suggestions? Getting ready to switch back to cable. Ugh!
