I leave a possible solution for people who factory reset their Chromecast, the solution that I used to be able to reconfigure the Chromecast was to change the date of the mobile, remove the time zone, disable everything and leave it in manual with the date 8/3/2025, save and go to the home application and add your device, after adding your Chromecast is already connected but you will not be able to send content, at least now you will only wait for it to update to the new official patch once it is added you already set the normal mobile time.

Hopefully this is working, changing the time helped to reconnect. Now waiting if the update will come automatically.
Another device I have, luckily I didn't do a factory reset and this one is working again normally since today.

I'm glad the other device is working, let's hope the others update it soon.

I did the change with the date again this afternoon like you said and now in the evening my Chromecast is working again. Probably they fixed the issue . Finally!

Hi, i saw the solution on reddit, you just need to set your android phone date back to March 7 2025 (or a previous date to that), then you set up the chromecast with google home, it will work and after that it'll start updating pushing the fix that installs the new certificate.
It worked for me just like the OP said.
This is the reddit post, ignore the part about pushing the cert manually since once you set the wifi connection with the chromecast it'll download the fix that google pushed today.
