Sound problem Chromecast

We have recently upgraded our DISH connection.  Now when I try to run a movie using Chromecast the sound is perfect for about five minutes then it is silent but the movie is still running.  Any suggestions?

Thanks for posting. I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing this situation with the sound on your Google Chromecast after making some changes in the DISH connection. I understand how frustrating that situation can be. But don't worry, I can help. Here is some steps that you can try to solve the situation:

 

  • Depending on the model of your Chromecast, you can perform a soft reset (reboot) on your device. But if you have the Chromecast with Google TV, you can try clearing the cache through the Chromecast device or even uninstalling the app with the issues.
  • In any case that after doing the previous steps the situation persists, the next step is to do a factory reset on your Chromecast device.
