Streamer Setup - Anyway to hide wire?

Have several Google Chromecast TV devices and was looking at the new Streamer. It appears that the HDMI wire will be noticable by hanging between the TV and console, if you have your TV mounted on the wall. This would defeat the purpose of mounting a TV on wall for a clean look and seeing no wires. Is there a way for this not to happen? Seems like a flaw in the design for so many people who have their TV's mounted.

Hi @dkny1993

The Streamer box is really slim so possible to mount behind the tv. If you have a frameless TV wall mounted then I would think running wires through the wall is the best option.

Thanks - can try and see if it there's something that can hold it up. Do I need the HDMI wire that Google is supplying now for those who are Chromecast TV 4K owners (I have 5 of them). And what difference will this give me over what I have now. Thanks!

I used one of my stash of HDMIs.😅  The one you used for the Chromecast 4k should be fine.

Look into double sided sticky Velcro. You can put the box on the back of the TV and it will stick with the Velcro.  There might be a way to rest it on your TV mount as well. Play around and I bet you'll be able to hide the wires!
