Tried to connect my account to my smartv but it doesn't work

I tried to connect my account multiple time but it doesn't work at all. it will 'connect' but it still says to sign in. i tried to remove my account from my smartv but still doesn't work

This usually happens when the TV hasn’t fully synced with your account. A few things to try:

  1. Make sure your Google TV is updated to the latest firmware.
  2. Sign out completely from all Google accounts on the TV, then restart the TV before signing in again.
  3. Clear the Google app cache on the TV (Settings → Apps → Google → Clear Cache).
  4. If possible, try signing in with a different device first and then linking to the TV.

If none of this works, sometimes a factory reset of the TV is the fastest way to resolve persistent login glitches.
