Not able to cast any device to Android tv. Mine is Thomson 55 inch smart Android tv 

Showing as " this could be caused by outdated device firmware"

Android version: 9

Kernel version: 4.9.113

Chrome cast built in version: 1.61.329909

A few questions: when did the issue start? Is this only happening in one app or across all apps? Please try to reboot your TV. Resetting it might also help. If you're not familiar with this, please contact your TV manufacturer for additional help.

This issue is there from the time I purchased the TV. This is happening across all apps. Tried rebooting and resetting but in vain.

Thanks for getting back to us. If the suggested steps don't work, and you only have a TV with built-in Chromecast, please reach out to your TV manufacturer for further help. There might be some setting that needs to be configured or they may need to check it's firmware and update it.
