Were can i find the Device key on the chromecast?

Hello people,

I need some help.

I installed an app (iboplayer) on my chromecast . To activate the app i need to inpute my mac adress and the device key on there website.

Were can i find the device key.

If i start the app it shows the mac adress but de device key is N/A.

Hope someone can help me out.

I had the same issue with my Chromecast when trying to activate an app like iboplayer. The app shows the MAC address on the startup screen but the Device Key shows as N/A.

Usually, the Device Key is either displayed on the app’s info/settings screen or it’s generated after the first activation attempt — but in some cases with Chromecast, certain apps don't have direct access to generate a Device Key. I’d recommend double-checking the app's settings or reinstalling the app once. Also, you might want to contact iboplayer support directly because they sometimes need to activate it manually based on your MAC address.
