What does the percentage in a Google Home device tile represent?

I’ve searched and searched and cannot find an answer. I know it isn’t volume, is it related to WiFi strength?

if I see another article on how to use Tile with Google Home I’ll scream.

The percentage that you're seeing on your Google Home app is the volume of the media you're playing. But to make sure, you can send or attach a picture on this thread so that we can check .
