Wifi not connecting

I recently took my chromecast with me to stay at a hotel. I was able to use my primary phone as a Hotspot because the hotel wifi was public access thru sign in which Chromecast doesn't support. No issues until I returned and tried to reconnect to my home TV. Went thru resetting up and phone recognized Chromecast but when connecting back to home wifi, it says incorrect password.

I've had this same issue with my phone temporarily disconnecting and saying incorrect password but I just refresh and reconnects automatically. I've tapped try again multiple times in the Home app hoping it's just a fluke but nothing seems to work. Even factory reset the Chromecast.

Any help would be appreciated.

When on a new Wifi network with a chromecast yes you will need to factory reset the device and setup from scratch.  If its not setting up using your phone, something else is going on.  Would suggest a reboot of your phone, your home router, and another factor reset on the CC, then give it another try 🙂
