Wont stay connected to tv

Hi, so I’ve had this issue for a while but the chrome cast has become completely unusable. I connect it to my TV and sometimes it stays connected for about 25 minutes and other times it disconnects seconds after spending a few minutes loading to connect. I have tried resetting the chrome cast but still the same thing happens every time

To gather more information, I'd like to ask the following:

 

  • What is the model of your Chromecast?
  • What is the firmware version of the Chromecast?
  • How did you perform a reset on the Chromecast?
  • Is the Chromecast showing any LED status light?
  • Have you made any changes to your Wi-Fi network?
  • Has the Chromecast device been successfully set up before?
  • What device do you use to set up your Chromecast with?

In the meantime, you can try the following steps:

 

  • Make sure you have the latest version of the Google Home app and mobile software.
  • Update your router's firmware if needed. Sometimes routers have bugs, and firmware updates can fix them.
  • Reboot your router.

  • Ensure your mobile devices and Chromecast are on the same Wi-Fi network.
