Youtube lost connection to chromecast unless the router is rebooted

I have a first and a third generation Chromecast connected to two TV sets. They have been properly set up to cast from Youtube and Spotify. Unfortunately, both apps would lose connection with Chromecast unless the router is rebooted. The Chromecasts can continue to cast Google Photos on my TV screens. The WiFi network is stable. This problem is happening daily.

If your router is dual band WiFi, create different names for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bandwidths.

Connect the Chromecast 1st generation on 2.4 GHz and the Chromecast 3rd generation on 5 GHz.

It seemed I solved the problem of Youtube App on Android 11 Samsung phone and 2nd gen Chromecast disconnection problem.

1.Go under settings.

2.Then "Apps", search for the youtube app.

3.In the App Info Screen click under  usage into "battery".

4.Click into the "optimize battery usage" screen and DISABLE  the OPTIMIZATION button for the youtube app. Your app should now appear in the "Apps not optimized" screen. And "not optimized" will be displayed in the battery usage screen.

This solved the permanent disconnection problem for me.

I have the same issue on 2nd gen chromecast, and an Android 11 Samsung phone. Yotube app disconnects permanently after 2min stream time. I deleted the cache of google home app and youtube app. Restart the phone, restart the router. Nothing worked. Watching youtube on my TV is now impossible for me.
