Chromecast Orange light fixed after it started by itself an update. Reset pressing button does not work, anything work.
Those stupid updates bricked my device, and it is out of warranty. I will go to firestick if I don´t get support , amazon at least replace their products, especially when is your software update error.

Is the light solid orange and not pulsing? If so, unplug your Chromecast from the power source, wait about one minute, and then plug it back in. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, you can try a factory reset although it sounds as though you've already tried that by following the steps below?
While the Chromecast is plugged into the TV and connected to power, hold down the button on the side of the Chromecast. The LED should begin to blink orange. When the LED light turns solid white, release the button and the Chromecast should then restart.

Thank you very much for your answer, I tried all those steps dozen times. The light is orange and fixed, does not blink. When I plug on the outlet, it turns on orange immediately and keep fixed, even when I try to push the reset button it doesn't change or blink.
It looks like it miss the operating system.
Is there any way to upload a firmware on this device? Thank you again.

There isn't a way to load firmware manually no. It sounds then like it may be faulty, so I'd recommend that you contact the Chromecast support team directly.

Thank you guys, maybe I will contact Google help, but my device has more than one year, so I guess it's out of warranty.

So estrange, I had answered there times. Thanks Kimy, I already give up on my Chromecast, since it is bricked and there is no way to write or upload a firmware on this device. I lost it on one of those automatic updates.
