My chromecast is hooked up correctly to my tv (white solid LED light). It is not connecting to my cellphone (Ihave the Google Home app loaded on my cellphone. Ultimately I want my TV to show what is happening on my new Oculus, Quest 2. The Chromecast is set for my wifi 2.4. I do have a lot of devices on my wifi 2.4 in my house. When setting up I usually let the connection setup go for about 1 minute then hit next....nothing happens. Should there be some sign that my chromecast has hooked up to my cellphone before I hit next?
