chromecast not working

My google chromecast has been working for the past 5 or 6 months with no issues. Randomly one day it disconnected from the internet and now will not connect, iv tried all the suggestions they say and even called and they told me it was to do with my wifi but no one else is having issues with the wifi or other sources of chromecast. I even connected my chrome to another tv and it worked.

Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. Have you tried to perform a factory reset and then set it up again from scratch? We can isolate it by disconnecting it from your WiFi and connecting it to your mobile hotspot instead. Let us know how it goes.
