chromecast remote disconnected

Hello, I have two issues which are both connected.

so the first issue is that the lateral volume bar won't disappear. It stays even after turning the chromcast off and on. How can I make it disappear? 

And second issue; I tried to fix the first one by discconnaitry the remote but now, I can't connect it anymore. Forlunally I can still use the on and off button but that's it... 

already tried to connect it again by pressing the home and return button but nothing.

I don't really know which chromecast I have either.I bought it a year ago.

Any idea to help me fix that?

• Try "Reboot your Chromecast device".

Remote:

Thank you, I manage to remove the volume bar thanks to your instruction.

I still have one issue left, how can I connect the remote to the chromcast ? 

I disconnected it and now I can't connect it again. I press the two required buttoms but nothing happens. Only a white lighty slowly flashing.

For a few minutes I could use my phone as a remote but I don't have the option anymore either. Isn't it strange ?

Hi, thank you but the issue is that the remote isn't paired anymore with the chromcast. I manage to unpair it but impossible to pair it again
