As title says, my Google Play subscription page lists Google Home Premium Advanced twice, once under Google Home and under Google One. Do I need to cancel my Google Home Subscription? I've read Google is offering a prorated credit for my annual payment for my Google Home account, but I can't find step by step instructions on how to close one account and have the credit applied to the other. Does anyone know how to do this? I've found similar posts in the community, but nothing with clear steps on how to make it happen.

Hi @MulligansPal,

Thanks for posting in the community. I understand you're having a confusing experience seeing two active subscriptions for Google Home Premium Advanced—one tied to Google Home and one tied to Google One. I know this must be concerning when you're looking for clear, step-by-step instructions on how to manage this duplication and get your prorated refund. I appreciate the detailed information you shared! I'm happy to help shed some light on this process.

The reason you are seeing a duplicate listing is that your Google One membership now includes the Google Home Premium benefit, which needs to be applied to your existing Home structure. This process is designed to automatically handle the cancellation and refund for your original subscription. You do not need to manually cancel your Google Home subscription in the Google Play Store. The cancellation and prorated refund are handled automatically during a replacement flow that you initiate in the Google Home app.

Please check out the following article to learn how to activate a Google Home Premium or Fitbit Premium subscription with Google One to get detailed instructions.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Regards,
Jonathan
