I received an email "This is a reminder that your subscription is renewing on Friday, 31 October, 2025. Your subscription will renew automatically until you cancel"
But I dont have a subscription. When I checked my account, I see this: "you still have Google Home Premium (1st gen) subscriptions managed by Brinks Home Security. Contact Brinks Home Security to cancel this subscription".
I called Brinks and they have no idea what I am talking about. Brinks and Google ended their partnership years ago. And I no longer have the google home security system that was managed by brinks.
How do I get this resolved? Thank you for any help. Does Google actually have a phone number? I see they are happy to give out other businesses phone numbers.

Hi @grennis,
Thank you for posting in the community. I understand you're receiving an email about renewing "Google Home Premium (1st gen) subscriptions managed by Brinks Home Security," especially since you no longer have the Nest security system. I appreciate you sharing that you already contacted Brinks Home Security to cancel the subscription, only to find they had no information about it. I'm happy to assist you.
Since you mentioned receiving an email about renewal without having an active subscription, the team would like to learn more about this situation. When you get a chance, please fill out this form and let us know when you’re finished. We’ll have someone reach out to you via email from there.

Thanks for the reply. This is a very interesting situation - after accepting the one month free google home premium (I bought a doorbell), the messaging on the 3rd party subscription changed, since I now have 2 premium subscriptions I guess, and it actually showed a cancel link! I clicked cancel and I believe it did cancel, as the 3rd party message is gone! So anyone else who has the problem just buy a doorbell! 😀
