I have a new nest point which never pulsed white light for setup and
factory button reboot didn't work either. Any other suggestions or do I
return just it? The power is fine, the lights on top are solid white.

I saw posting that I can use a router as a point, but when I try and set
it up, I get an error message saying that it needs to be connected to
via ethernet cable? How do I do it or can I not do it and need to return
them? Thanks, Matt.
I tried now and bought a combo pack and the second one didn't work
either. When I add the device on Google Home App, it finds the unit, but
won't permit any setup but as a router.
