Nest Router as a Point

ViewParker

I saw posting that I can use a router as a point, but when I try and set it up, I get an error message saying that it needs to be connected to via ethernet cable?  How do I do it or can I not do it and need to return them?  Thanks, Matt.

Shouldn't be saying that. Did you try to first factory reset to the device?

I tried now and bought a combo pack and the second one didn't work either.  When I add the device on Google Home App, it finds the unit, but won't permit any setup but as a router.

I am good thank you.  Returned that box, but mesh is up and running well.
