Adding a Separate Nest Account

Does anyone know how I can add a separate Nest account to the app?  I would like another completely separate account that has its own email address to monitor a second home.   Thanks!

Hey SusanB1,

Thanks for reaching out. You can create a new home structure and signed in your additional account there. Follow these steps:

Create a home.

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Tap Add.
  3. Tap Create new home.
  4. Assign a home nickname, and enter the home address.

To add another account.

  1. Make sure the mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network or signed in or linked to the same account as the Google Nest, Home, or Chromecast device.
  2. Open the Google Home app .
  3. At the top right, tap the Profile icon.
  4. Next to the name of the current Google Account which is logged in, tap.
    1. Once it expands, if the account the customer wants to link is already listed in the expanded menu, tap it to select it.
    2. If the customer wants to link a brand new Google Account, then tap Add another account.
  5. Select Google from the list of available providers, if any.
  6. Enter the login credentials. After the customer goes through all the steps successfully, the account will be linked to the Google Home app.

Looking forward to your response.

Best,

Alex
