Can't log into Nest App on iPhone 14

Can't log into the Nest App on my iPhone 14, I sign in with Google and it flashes past the Home Setup screen  twice before stopping on a screen that says "There was a problem while connecting to the Nest service. Try again in a few minuets.". I have reset the phone, deleted and re-downloaded the app but makes no difference. My login is correct as I con log into the home.nest.com site.

I'm having the same issue on iPhone 13 after upgrading to iOS16!

I have just read your reddit post and the problem seems the same, I only notice the problem as I attempted to add a 2nd Nest Protect the other day. My existing Nest Protect also shows off line on the web site.

The issue only happens while connected to a wifi network (any wifi, not just my home network). Switching to mobile data allows me to log in and access the devices. This is a very critical bug - I hope it gets fixed soon, or I will have to switch to a different system. FYI I'm based in Europe.

My iPhone app has started working and the Nest Protects are now on line. It must have been a problem at the Nest end as the app has not been updated.

Hi Jake - would it be fair to wait at least three weeks - the same time that it took Google to reply - to close this thread?
