I have a Google Nest setup for wifi and need to set up filters, but I cannot open Digital Wellbeing in settings on iOS (16.6). Every time I try, I get the message "Couldn't open settings". Searching through the forums, this issue has come up many times and there has never been a good answer for it - it's been suggested to uninstall / reinstall the app, reset the devices, check the app permissions, none of which work for people and having done all this nothing has not worked for me. I live in the US so it is not a geo issue.
Given how many times this has come up this should be a known issue - will it be fixed? Or is the only solution to get another (non-Google) wifi setup?

Hi dscms,
I’m sorry to hear about the trouble you’re experiencing accessing the Digital Wellbeing on Google Home. To further isolate this, do you have another phone or tablet/iPad? Try to use a different device and check if the Google Home app will give you the same message when trying to set up the Digital Wellbeing.
Regards,
Alex

I am also having this issue. Both my partner and I have not been able to access Digital Wellbeing through the app. We do not have any iPads or other phones to try it on. It renders the products useless for us because we have four small children in our home and need to set up parental controls before we use the system.
I have also not seen a suggested resolution to this...

Hi HelpCME,
We appreciate you taking those steps. Digital Wellbeing is only available in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, and Japan. What country are you in? Also, have you already uninstalled and reinstalled the Google Home app?
Best,
Alex

Are you going to help us with this issue? Given how long this has been going on, I would hope someone would be busting heads over there. Please fix!

I am in the USA and it isn't working for me. This seems to be a long-standing issue see:
that Google unbelievably and unprofessionally has not fixed yet. The whole point of my using the Google Home and Google Fiber and all the equipment was to help control what my kids can access. What does it take to escalate this and actually get it fixed.
This is totally absurd. For the record, as many people in the other thread mention, it says: "Couldn't open settings, TRY AGAIN"

@Alex_S This is a big deal. As you can see. Many people have this problem, and it’s been going on for years. Someone has to get this fixed.
