Changed phones

I changed from android to iPhone and the Lenovo display still rings the android. The android is broken and no longer has service. How do I let my assistant know of the change. Do I need to delete home and set it up again?

Hi there, Valcam2005,

Sorry to hear about the issues you're having, but I wanted to see if I could help.

I just have some clarifying questions. You mentioned a Lenovo display, but are you using the Google Home app on this? What Google products are you using that we could help out with?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Garrett DS

Yes I was using the system with Google home. The Lenova display was sold by Costco and Best Buy and other places for a few years prior to nest. I have always been an android user and have several Google products i.e. Google home, chrome, Google mail, Chromecast, etc. The feature I liked the most that my assistant offered me was when I ask google home to find my phone it would ring my phone for a for five minutes. I recently changed to an iOS phone and now when I ask find my phone my assistant still calls the android phone. I can ask her to call my iPhone and it will dial my number but that’s not really how the feature should work. I am trying to get the assistant to recognize the new phone, which has the same phone number, without having to delete the whole program. Thank you for any help you can offer.

Hey there,

Sorry to hear that you're still having issues with this but I am happy to look further into this for you.

I know that the find my phone feature is very helpful and I was able to find an article that will help you set it up for your new iPhone.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,

Garrett DS
