Forgot pin for door locking inside the app

Good day, once I am inside my home app; I can’t lock or unlock my doors with the app due to forgetting the pin given at set up. How do I retrieve that pin or reset it?

You'll need to use the Nest app to change your lock passcode.

1. On the Nest app home screen, tap the Settings cog.
2. Tap Family & Guests.
3. Tap You to change your own passcode.
4. Enter a passcode you’ll remember between 4 to 8 digits long.
5. Tap Show passcode to view the passcode.
