Home and Away routines missing

I can't seem to find home and away routines. My account doesn't need to be converted from Nest.

In the history, I can see that it runs the routines when we arrive home or leave, but I can't find them anywhere to customize.

If you open the Google Home app, then tap the name of your home at the top left, do you see a popup from the bottom with "home and away"?

Nope. It's not there. That's what I've been back and forth with Support about for a week.

And if you tap the Automations tab at the bottom of the app, you don't see routines for "Home" and "Away" in the "Household Routines" section at the top?

Also do you have presence sensing turned on as that's needed for home and away routines?

Yes. Two phones, all speakers, and all displays are enabled for this.

No. Only Household and Personal routines.

Do you happen to already have any routines that use when you're home or away as a starter? If so, try deleting those?

Personal ones. It's not possible to delete them, but only deactivate.

I'm not sure deactivating them will work. Are you able to remove the "home" or "away" part as the starter?

It doesn't appear so. I think it's built in.

Re-reading your original post you said "My account doesn't need to be converted from Nest."

Can you explain what you mean by that?

There were instructions in Google's Help about potentially needing to migrate Nest accounts to Google.

Am I right in thinking then that you use the sign in with Google button and don't have a legacy Nest account?

I have the same problem. No Home and Away routines. Please advise
