I want to stabilize my wi-fi in my basement. It's weak.
I have a Ethernet cable connection ready.
Can I get a 2nd Google nest router and hard wire it to the Ethernet (which is connected to my main Google router and thereby boost my wi-fi.
I see 'yes you can' and 'no you can't' answers all over and I need someone to tell me definitively if I can do it or not.

Zero replies. Nobody knows. Ok.. I'll test and find out myself.

Yes you can - i have mine setup in that manner. See this link from Google on the topic.

Doing this will provide max performance and the backhaul function is going over the ethernet cable rather than wireless.
