I have tried everything suggested in other threads to try to solve my nest app on my phone saying no usage. Some days it shows no usage at all some days it does but it’s inaccurate because it acts like it’s been running all day when it hasn’t. I’ve reset the nest itself multiple times but it has not fixed it. It also shows accurate uses history on the actual Ness itself. I have deleted The app as well and nothing has worked. It seems like this is been an ongoing problem for a few years. Are there any solutions at this point?

just weird that after repairing my wireless connection that history started behaving.

There's the problem. I don't have a boiler. I have forced air. Therefore, I don't have a heat link section. But, I'm guessing the lack of history is just a server issue on their end.

Unsure if this is of any use but I found resetting my router to a set channel opposed to auto addressed the history issue. This came about when I found my battery protect went offline. I changed the channel to a fixed one and left it for a while. After seeing this had reconnected by the evening I then saw my history was back as well. Possibly this is just a coincidence but it may be of use to someone hopefully.

As an update on the missing thermostat history this change to a fixed channel on my router appears to still be holding and I have had constant readings each day. As I said it may be a coincidence that this happened when I made the change but it is still working so I’m not complaining. Maybe the constant shifting of the channel on the router in Auto mode was unsettling the readings.

My router has always been on a fixed channel - and I’ve always had the history problem.  Unfortunately I think your good fortune is just coincidence

Mine has started to work again. Perhaps because we bought a new Nest device in another property!

Oh I’m sorry and I guess you’re right it is just coincidence. Just thought I’d say in case it was a resolution for people. Fingers crossed you can resolve things on your history too

Well, what do you know?? My usage history came back on 1st April. And it wasn't an April Fool joke because it has been working absolutely perfectly ever since. I didn't change a thing.

My app showed No Usage for previous day only.   But could see usage on thermostat.
Fixed it by doing a factory reset (not just normal restart). After 1 day when had enough data the app worked fine.

The Nest Thermostat v3 is very unreliable for the Heating Demand history recording and representation in the app. I’m a landlord and have them in a number of properties, but is so frustrating that they intermittently record the heat signal to the boiler.
this week the last 2 days on ALL my properties shows no Heating, but then you tap a day and it either shows some usage or a False 100% On, albeit with the Zero summary. They are so unreliable and erratic.

Also, I seem to recall, the the History section, can be different depending on if you look via iPhone or iPad.

Come on Google, it looks like you don’t care about this Nest Thermostat service.

First reported in 2021 it’s 2023. I just started having this issue but based on the posts I’m assuming it’s not worth even trying at this point if they can’t get it right since 2021. I guess as long as my light bill is consistent I will have to rely on the prayer that it is doing it’s job correctly.

Google is in the business of making money off you not sealing good products.  All of their products are bugging and unsupported.   I will never buy hardware of any kind from Google the lesson was hard learned.   They help shape the definition of corporate greed in America.
