Hello sir. I can't able to reset my phone.I forget my password.

no password reset email received. Not in spam folder either.

Hi there jrod,
Sorry to hear that you're not receiving the password reset email. Are you using a gmail account or a different domain? If you're using a different domain, I would suggest setting up a gmail account as the emails go to those accounts without any issues.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.
Best regards,
Garrett DS

I’m using gmail account (s) and I never received a single email to change my password.

This is RIDICULOUS!! I am having the same issue, like everyone else... not receiving an email to reset your password, if that indeed is the problem.... Everyone seems to be having the same issue. Why don't you correct this problem? I just had my Nest thermostat installed, March 21st, 2022. My app was working fine. Then yesterday I clicked on the app from my cell and it wanted me to sign-in, it didn't do this the other days, so why now? So, I tried to sign-in using the same sign-in info at set up, and its telling me that my email address is wrong or my password is wrong. So I hit re-set password and I do not get an email to reset my password and YES, I have checked spam folder in my email... I am about ready to call my furnace company and have them bring me out a different thermostat and get rid of this Nest. It seems like we have NO ONE to call for customer support....

Same thing happened to me. So frustrating that we can’t contact anyone to resolve this. I expect much more from Google.
03-28-2022 06:19 AM
Same here; I can login to my new phone- yet still can login my old phone….stupid…..I am using gmail too

Has ANYONE had any luck getting to speak to a human being on this topic?? There's nearly 200 similar issues noted and I've yet to see one satisfying response to this issue. Incredible. I too am having EXACTLY the same issue. WTF?!
04-06-2022 12:08 PM
I have the same problem. I can’t log in to Nest and requested a password reset 10 times but never received an email to reset. I am going to scrap nest and go buy ring. I think it’s better anyway

Time for a class action law suit. Lets all get very vocal on social media about any NEST alarms and cameras. Put them out of business. There are plenty of other much better companies out there that have immediate and effective technical support.
07-16-2022 06:44 AM
It’s not nest is the wannabe google inferior company
I only have 3 google / nest products in my house and they all have issues
I have 10 plus apple products in my house zero issues
04-04-2022 09:57 AM
i have been trying since yesterday to get reset email does not work, What is problem
04-05-2022 04:41 AM
Good luck getting a response that's remotely helpful. The BOT named Garrett doesn't seem to understand that everyone (more than 200 customers) are having the same issue. I think customers should start slamming Google's Nest via social media so it becomes a "Buyer BEWARE" story.
04-05-2022 05:03 AM
absolutely, share your thoughts. I don’t think “Garrett” is really trying to help - just repeat the same technical procedures- of course, I did try. We may start stop buying nest and voice out too; ask your friends and family avoid being the next victim. I am stupid enough to have more than 20 google devices in my cottage. Anyone can suggest alternative? I am giving up- my time is more valuable
04-05-2022 05:06 AM
Absolutely, I second your thoughts. It is totally waste my time. The same answer (expect it won’t solve the problem) was cut and paste. I guess we should start sharing with friends and colleagues not being the next victim - stop buying google products!! Sad to say- I got more than 20 devices stupidly. Any suggestions for alternative?

We all need to find a good Whistle Blower organization that can rally to bring very bad public relations on social media to warn people not to purchase unusable and expensive NEST equipment. WYZE does a much better job.

incorrect, I have a Google GMAIL account and reset password button does NOTHING, no email. I need to reset 2 outdoor cameras and since google took over my NEST account I cannot access it to remove my cameras so I can add them at my new house. $500 worth of cameras that do not work. I need an attorney at this point.

Hi Garrett,
I'm having the same issue with 2 separate gmail addresses. It's incredibly frustrating that a simple password reset doesn't work across 2 Google services. I've spent more than 2 hours trying to get this to work.
07-16-2022 06:46 AM
Garret is to busy trying to figure out what gender it wants to be
because it has zero value in anything else in life

I am using a gmail account. Not receiving password email. Not in spam.
10-03-2022 03:40 PM
I have a gmail address and I have tried to reset my password, and nothing comes through to my gmail. I see others are having the same issue. I really need to re-set my password .
11-01-2022 11:01 AM
Hi Garrett we are having the problem with the email password reset. The emails being reset in nest should be going to a Gmail account but they're not coming through.
11-10-2022 02:34 AM
No help whatsoever shifting the problem to the user
01-05-2023 04:58 AM
You are not helping GarrettDS. All we want is a password reset. This is not a computer gobbledegook issue, this is a very simple service issue!! REPLY TO PASSWORD RESET REQUEST SENT VIA THE APP.
01-05-2023 07:25 AM
Call 1-855-469-6378. They should be able to help you receive the email to change your password. You have to talk to a person. You won't be able to get it done on here.
01-07-2023 09:17 AM
Gratified that you're "sorry" but what is the fix?
01-16-2023 07:48 AM
Changed email account to gmail 6 months ago+/-
01-16-2023 07:56 AM
I am not getting your reply. Sent to 2 other people!
03-02-2023 10:01 AM
I've two Gmail accounts and neither work it is clearly a bug product issue
05-21-2023 01:15 PM
So google can data-mine more of our lives away? Ha! I will be throwing the Nest in the nearest toilet and going with a company that is less intrusive. Closing my gmail now too. Enough. #GoogleSucks
11-02-2021 01:54 PM
I am using a gmail email account for my Nest account.
11-02-2021 04:44 PM
I am having the same issue. Incredibly frustrating !
11-04-2021 09:38 AM
Hi there jrod,
Sorry to hear that you're still having issues with this. Have you tried adding the email domain to your spam whitelist?
What other troubleshooting steps have you taken?
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Best regards,
Garrett DS

Garrett, it seems that you are circling around the issue and not providing a practical solution. Is anyone at Google familiar with this issue and what is the plan to correct it?
03-07-2022 05:10 AM
I've been trying to change my password for weeks (not because I forgot it) just because the Nest app said it's wrong.
