Hi.
In my living room a have a good mix of smart bulbs and power plugs with lamps connected to them.
I have labeled the power plugs as lamps in Google Home, so turning on/off the lamps from the app works great with one click in the app.
However when turning on the lights. "hey google turn on lights" from Google Nest Audio or Google Nest Mini it only turns on the smart bulbs. To turn on the power plugs I need to do another "hey google turn on power plugs".
I thought that grouping them all as light should also tell the Google Nest Audio or Mini act accordingly?
Is there something that this info needs to be synchronised or perhaps set up differently?
Thanks for helping!

Hey there Ingers,
I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're having when grouping your lights together. Unfortunately, this is something that isn't a current feature right now but it is something that we are aware of that customer's are wanting and I'm happy to pass your feedback forward as well.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Best regards,

Thanks Garrett.
Yes I got it. As mentioned changing the type in the app switches on everything from the app - in one click, it is only the spoken commands that for one reason or another doesn't pick up the change and hence there are two commands. If you know it - it works, but would be great if "ok google turn on the light" would work. Much more impressive and professional too 🙂
Hope a fix will be prioritized. It is just for the speaker to pick up the changes done in the app. Hopefully not a big thing for the coders.
Thanks for your response and have a great weekend!
