Unable to delete personal routine from iPhone Google Home App

I have reviewed the help and other comments posted here on this topic.  There is no way to either delete or even edit a PERSONAL routine on iOS.  Once an action or device has been added to a personal routine it can not be removed and the routine itself can not be deleted.  There is no trash can icon.  No amount of swiping or tapping reveals a delete button or option.  The only thing possible is to deactivate the routine.

Google you make a great search engine but the rest of your software is truly terrible.  I loved my Nest products until you bought the company.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.

This is not the experience that we wanted you to have, let me help you out. There are ready-made Routines in the Google Home app. These cannot be deleted. Ready-made Routines have triggers that can’t be deleted too.
