Where do I find the password and registration and all that for this

Thanks for reaching out to us and welcome to our community. We're happy to see that your home is soon to become a Nest one. Let me look into this for you. 
 
Your account credentials are likely going to be the ones matching your Google account (your Gmail address and password). The code will be on the bottom of your device. It's a QR code to scan with your camera for a more efficient installation process. Can you log on using your Google credentials and see how it goes? 
 
Let me know if this process worked out for you. If it doesn't, I'll be ready with more troubleshooting! 🙂
