I run short term rentals and thought the Google Nest thermostat / camera combo would be a great way to automate my properties but today I found out there's an arbitrary 5 house limit in the app. Why is that? I saw that it used to be 3, now 5... if we're paying for storage and monitoring, shouldn't we be able to add as many as we want - even if it's just on the website only vs. the mobile app?

Hey - saw this response but it's not really an answer. Are you saying we need to go buy Rings and get into that eco-system if we have more than 5 homes that we have to manage? It does make management a bit more difficult but some coverage is better than refused coverage, right?

Sorry for the confusion. I'm not saying that you have to go out and buy anything. Was merely stating that I'm happy to take this feedback and pass it forward as there is nothing further that can solve this issue currently.

Thanks - but being a Product Mgr. myself I know when things are on the backlog but unprioritized, or worse yet, feedback just lost in the wind. If this isn't a big enough issue to be dealt with, then for the customers like us who are paying but can't manage what we have, it's not really helpful to say feedback will be brought back to the team.
