transfer account

Hi Guys, i set up a camera for a customer, unfortunately on my nest account.

The problem is that the camera is built into a wall, and I cannot get it out to read the QR code on the back.

Therefore, I would like the owner who already has access to it, to get the ownership of the account on his email so I can delete mine.

Then I can create a new account as I can read all my QR codes.

Kindly tell me that it is possible….

That's not possible, I'm afraid. To change owner:

  1. First, remove the product from the Nest app.
  2. Then, reset the camera to factory defaults.
  3. The owner can then set it up with their own account and Nest app.

Thanks, I knew how to do that but as I wrote, extremely complicated and a bad solution. I dont know why it has to be so compliocated. Anyway we broke up the wall and pulled the camera. thanks
