Apple iOS 17.1.2 update didn’t help with Google Home/Google Nest Cam barely-audible notifications

Many posts about the iOS 17 update rendering Google Nest Cams useless with now barely-audible notifications.  Response from Google is it isn’t their fault - it’s Apple’s?!  I don’t care Google - figure out a way to update your app to work with current technology that millions of your customers are using.
