Hey kdpancake,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. A few questions: when did the issue start? Are you getting any error messages? How far is the camera from the router? Do you have other Nest devices in the house? Also, have you tried any troubleshooting steps to fix this? Keep us posted.

Thanks,

Archie

Issue started on Friday night, no error messages and it's probably about 11 feet from the WiFi extender and it's been about a year that we have had it in the same spot.

Hey there,

Thanks for the information. What's the status light of your cameras? Could you check the battery status of them?

  1. Open the Google Home app.
  2. Verify that the Google Account shown is the one linked to the camera. To switch accounts, ask the customer to tap the drop-down arrow. Then, choose the correct account.
    Note: If the customer’s account isn’t on the list, they can select Add another account.
  3. Select the camera from the list of devices.
  4. Tap Settings.
  5. Under Device features, tap Battery.

Thanks,

Archie

Status light is green and still says offline.  Battery is full.  This is a Google problem not anything here, it's been fine for almost a year and now this.

@kdpancake

I'm sorry to hear that the app still shows it is offline! Is your phone connected to the same Wi-Fi as your camera? Has there been any changes since your last reply? Please let me know if you still need assistance.

Best regards,

Brad
