Repeat post as was not previously solved:
I’ve had the Nest app for a while to check indoor cameras. It used to run with no problems on my iPhone, but now, if I try to watch activity from a camera either live or from a recorded clip, it plays for a couple of minutes and then I get thrown out the app.
Update:
(I deleted the app and reinstalled it, as someone else suggested when I last posted this, but it didn’t help.)
My iPhone always has the latest software installed on it, at the time of writing its 15.3.1, and I’m upgrading to 15.4.1.
I’ve read on other websites that this IS a known issue. It’s apparently been a known problem for a year. What’s the fix? Is Nest no longer compatible with iPhones?!
I’ve got a iPhone XS Max.
Thanks in advance!

Hi there,
I apologize for my late response and thank you for all of your patience while waiting for a reply. I definitely understand how frustrating your situation must be, and I wanted to make sure that your concern was acknowledged. Thanks for your suggestions, @S3bryan! I am sorry to hear that the app still crashes. I do not have this issue on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, so I assume it may be related to your specific device, or model. I would suggest you contact Support to see if they can do some additional troubleshooting with you.
Best Regards,
Brad.

Just to say — this is now solved!
My partner suggested that my internet connection is the culprit! I’ve checked it today and it doesn’t happen at my partner’s flat, and I recently changed my internet connection!
Thank you both for your help and sorry to have wasted your time! 😊
Best wishes.

I’m running the IOS betta and no crashes at all. On your iPhone go into general, settings, reset. In reset ONLY CLICK location and privacy. Now delete the app and reinstall. It might be hung up on the new security features. Do not reset anything you’ll make yourself nuts

Hiya, thanks for the idea! I’ve just tried this but sadly it still crashes. The only new thing is it no longer crashes right away, it looks like it’s buffering first, and then crashes!
