I have a wired Nest doorbell/cam. I have an indoor electronic chime. I work on the nest doorbell and the chime works fine for about 1 day. Then the chime just doesn't work at all. I go into the nest app and turn the chime off and back on again and it works for about another day. Then again it stops working. I did change the Transformer and upgraded it but it made no difference. Since the only thing I'm changing is turning the chime off and back on again on the app it doesn't appear to be a hardware problem.

Under Settings | Chime Duration in the Google Nest app for your Google Nest Hello Doorbell, do you have "Do you have an electronic chime?" turned on? You can also experiment with the "Chime duration" setting.
If your Nest Hello is a couple of years old, the internal battery could be failing:
