Hello,
i have set up my first camera which is accessable by Wifi without issues. It is uploading recordings into the cloud and everything works.
But the most important thing is not working: it does not stream when i am outside of wifi.
i tested my access to other devices through the Google home app. I can switch my tv on and off. But the cameras stream is taking forever.
i even put a repeater close to it - got 60mb/s…
tried switching dns settings (since i use a pihole) and ipv6 from native to ipv4 - no change.
any ideas? Else ill just return it to my vendor..
thanks

Hello,
no thank you. I could isolate the issue. As long as I only use 1 SIM it is working. Dont know why its having problems though just from a logical perspective since you select a provider which is preferred for mobile data

Wow, that is a strange one.
#1 I know this sounds crazy but fully power down the phone for about 60 seconds and then power it back up so that it re-registers itself on the cellular network.
#2 Temporarily try it on another phone or device (like a tablet or iPad).
#3 by any change do you have the NEST MESH routers where this is located? If you read thru the various threads there may be a known issue there.
#4 if you are on an iPhone go into SETTINGS-->CELLULAR and make sure Cellular Data is set to ON
#5 if you are on an iPhone go into SETTINGS and scroll way far down until you see GOOGEL HOME and make sure CELLULAR DATA is set to ON.
... let me know of any of these helps narrow down the problem.

Hello,
thank you. The first suggestion worked. Any ideas why? I mean, i am using my phone in a regular base with homekit and other stuff- something like this Haus never happened before. My ISP is Not best here at home so i will test tomorrow when i am outside but I already got a more stable stream than before.

Hello again, today its not working again. This cannot be a solution to reboot my device every day.

And i found the solution: i got dual SIM and my first provider seems to not like the camera. When i switched to the second it started working.

Wow,,,, that was brilliant that you were able to nail this down like that. I will try and remember this but I have to think that there are not that many folks with Dual Sim.... maybe I'm wrong.

My guess is having two providers is troublesome. I cannot imagine why though.
a Bit later i had issues again so i disabledv one completely. Since then it seems to be working.
