Charging Nest Cam Battery In Place

There are other threads like this already, but I want to add on so Google will implement a fix. Like many others, I plan on charging the camera in place. I have the 10 meter outdoor charging cable, it will be super easy to get a ladder, plug it in, come back in 5 hours, instead of removing the anti-theft cable, go charge it inside, realign/reinstall the anti-theft cable.

Please get rid of the infinity sign while plugged in on the mount, and show the actual battery percentage.

In the meantime, is the Cam like the doorbell? It will only charge to 75% when mounted and plugged in? I can't find anything about it on the CAM, just the doorbell. This might need fixing too if that is the case.

Charging in place was not considered obviously, but please consider it now.

@ckbkmt

We've had the Google Nest Camera (battery) since early September--plugged in all the time with the 10 meter cable.  The first time we unplugged it to check the battery level, it was at 87%.  Since then it's been at 100% each time we've checked.  We're in Minnesota, with temperatures going down to 3 degrees Fahrenheit a couple of times; the rest of the time it's been warmer than normal.
