Hello,
When I stream audio and video to my phone using a Google Nest Cam (indoor, wired) I can hear what sounds like crickets chirping constantly. And no, there are no crickets nearby before anybody asks 🙂
I've tried the camera in several different rooms and with both Android and iOS devices but the sound is always there.
Anybody else experienced this? Remedies?
Cheers!

sounds like Audio Feedback....

Thanks but it 100% isn't.
I took it back to the store and they called a Google rep who said it's a common problem and to factory reset with the button in the bottom of the camera head.
I did this and it worked for about 1 minute then started doing it again.
I have since turned of both video history and audio recording and the chirping noise has stopped at the cost of functionality.
It's just a broken camera that the store said I can return but I literally can't be bothered going back to the store a third time and setting up another camera for $150 or whatever it's worth.

Yes, I do.

I am afraid I do not have a solution to this issue besides suggesting you keep trying to Factory Reset it, or see if it can be replaced via your Warranty if you are still under one.
Best regards,
Brad.
