This also applies for any 1st Gen cameras/doorbells (I have 6 1st gen Outdoor cameras and 2 Nest Hello doorbells) that have been transferred over to the Google Home app (I transferred mine back to the Nest app months ago due to this issue).
Whenever I try to view the video history of the events on either of my two 2nd Gen indoor (wired) cameras have captured, I always find myself staring at the camera feed as it constantly shows the icon indicating that it's loading when in actuality it's not. It could be more than 5 minutes and the spinning/loading icon will still be present on the screen. Apart from this issue, I always encounter a "Can't reach this camera" after a few seconds of watching the live feed of the camera or when I interact with it using Talk-to-speak (the microphone button). It usually goes away after I tap "retry" until I I have to check in on my 2nd Gen cameras again (through the Google Home app - the 1st Gen cameras on the Nest app have no issues).
I have a Deco Mesh system consisting of two Deco XE75Pro (one as the main router and the other as a mesh node) and one Deco X50-Outdoor. I have an Xfinity XB7 gateway that is set to bridge-mode. My Internet plan is 2Gbps down and 300Mbps up. All units are hardwired (wired-backhaul), as well as most of my devices (e.g., Smart TVs, video game consoles, laptops (when stationary), Hue Bridge).
All stationary wireless devices have band steering turned off and are either set to 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz. My Nest cameras (both 1st and 2nd Gen) are on the 5Ghz band (I have issues if they are all set to 2.4Ghz band). No issues whatsoever apart from the Google Home app and 2nd Gen cameras.
I find that setting my WiFi security to WPA2 (or even WPA/WPA2) seems to make things work better for the 2nd Gen cameras. I have no issues with loading video history/events. I think I still encountered the "Can't reach this camera issue" during my testing. I want to keep my network security to WPA2/WPA3 Personal to utilize easy hand-off between the 2.4Ghz/5Ghz/6Ghz bands for my compatible devices.
Is this issue ever going to be fixed?
Once again this only happens to my two 2nd Gen indoor (wired) cameras that use the Google Home app.

I have 12 battery cameras and have had them for over 2 years. Constantly have issues with vodeo footage not loading and they have never connected when i initially try to open them. The cannot connect prompt will show 2-3 times every time i try to open each camera. Unfortunately this has been like this for the entire 2+ years.
