Doorbel gen 1

We replaced our front doorbell with Gen 2. Moved old Gen 1 to back door. We cannot get it to set up on the existing home group. We can make a new home group and it installs fine. We delete it from that group and it will not install on the original home group. Error 009.

Wow, how frustrating.   You may want to try adding it to your home group using a differ phone.

If that doesn't work you may want to call and speak with a Google Nest tech person on this.  You can open a support ticket here (link below) and at one point there will be an option to speak with someone on the phone.   I believe they are there 24/7.

If they get you up and running please return here and let us know how they fixed it.

I spoke to support for over 40 minutes. My issue is not yet resolved. They are to contact me again to resolve issue.
