Doorbell stopped iPhone notifications

All of a sudden, if someone rings the doorbell, it sounds on the chime in the house, but I'm not receiving a notification that someone is at the door on my iPhone. I only noticed that it stopped working yesterday. I have no clue why. Everything else appears to be working as it should. Any advice? If I need to delete and re-install the apps, should I still have both Nest and Google, or just go to Google? Thanks.

Figured it out. Somehow push notifications got turned off for the doorbell. I don't want push notifications for the camera, only when someone rings the bell. To do that, you still need to have push notifications selected, always selected as when, then uncheck the people, packages, motion, and sound options so you don't get notified for everything.

As a follow-up... I deleted and re-installed the Nest app... still no notification to the phone of a doorbell ring.

In the Google Home app, it is logging a doorbell ring, but the phone is not notifying me of it. All notifications are turned on. I'm a bit confused.

I’m having same issue - started yesterday for me
