Hi folks!
@MplsCustomer thanks for your recommendations.
@Ingjuanrodz thanks for posting in the community. I’m sorry for the inconveniences that you’ve been experiencing with your new Nest Doorbell Wired 2nd Gen. I can see that since you installed it, it has started to give you issues with your digital chime. You have tried multiple wiring configurations, but the issue persists, and it also starts to chime once and again. A faulty wire setup usually happens with complex chimes that have 3 or more wires. If after changing the transformer the trouble persists, I will suggest you contact a local pro for help with an advanced installation.
I’ll be waiting for your response.
Regards,
Daniel.

We have three 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbells, and the internal battery has failed on all three (so we've turned off the "Indoor chime" option on all three so the doorbells don't go offline when the doorbell button is pressed), but we've never gotten any message at all about the battery. I think only the 2nd gen Google Nest Battery Doorbell (which can be wired) does that.
Regarding your 2nd gen Google Nest Doorbell not ringing your digital chime, have you tried lengthening the doorbell chime? We have the 1st gen doorbells (which work in the Google Nest app), but here's a Help topic on how to lengthen the digital chime duration in the Google Home app:
Did you wire the chime connector as shown in this Help topic?

Another possibility is your doorbell transformer. Along with other customers in this forum, we upgraded several years ago from our very old doorbell transformer to a 16V 30VA transformer.
I don't understand your reference to trying "multiple wiring configurations using the adapter FT, RT,FR."

I followed wiring recommendations. Maybe is the transformer. Strange thing is that doorbell if I do some changes the doorbell keeps chiming and chiming

I am having a problem with our Nest Doorbell Wired. Same problem many had on the subject “What does the nest doorbell 2md gen puck do?”. Nest part works fine but indoor doorbell does not work. Replaced the transformer from the old system and still does not work. That former thread indicated some people were sent new 4 wire pucks as the puck was the problem. How does one get one of these.
have triple checked wiring. Also made sure indoor chime still works with nest doorbell removed.
Sounds like I’m having the same frustration as many others have had with faulty puck.

Your post does not indicate WHICH Nest Doorbell Wired you have. The 4-wire chime connector is used with the 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbell (we have 3 of them) that get installed in the Google Nest app, while the newer 2-wire chime connector is used with the 2nd gen Google Nest Doorbell (Wired), which gets installed in the Google Home app.
You would have to contact Support to try to get a replacement chime connector:
1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.

It is wired 2nd generation with a 2 wire puck.
Thank you for the links.
