Google Cameras, Doorbells and Hubs with Google Workspace Accounts

Any updates on allowing Google Home devices like Google cameras, doorbells, hubs, etc. work with Google Workspace accounts?  Google's AI pointed me to turning on "Google Home" services under "Additional Google services" -- that option does not exist for me.

Thanks.

Hi @resh4310

Google hasn't shared any announcements on this. The help centre still makes it clear you need to use a personal account to access all features unfortunately.

Link a Google Workspace account to the Google Home app - Google Nest Help

Note: Some Google Home app features are not available for Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) accounts. To access all Google Home app features available in your country, link a personal Gmail account instead.

Running two separate accounts is what I do now, but the user experience is very poor.  Half the time my assistant is on the wrong account account.  My hub doesn't know about my workspace account and can't access calendars, etc. but the hub is what I use to view the cameras.

I was hoping there was another solution that my google-fu had not turned up

I don't think Google will ever implement this.  For one thing workspace accounts are often under the control of an employer who might cancel you email address/account in which case you would loose access to your cameras.

That should be left to the discretion of the user IMO.   Camera's can be moved if emails change - the user experience right now having dual accounts is painful IMO.
