Google Nest Battery Doorbell

I have an IPhone 13 Pro Max. When my Doorbell is rung I can only get a mild notification that I could only hear if my phone is in my hand. Is there anyway of getting a loud notification so that I don't miss it?

You can change the notification sound, but it will change the sound for all notifications from the doorbell & from the Home app! There doesn't appear to be any way to simply set an individual notification sound for the doorbell being rung, which seems like a huge oversight in terms of how this has been designed, given that the fundamental function of a doorbell is to ring, in an obvious way! Personally I have had to download a macro app and hack my own solution to trigger a more attention-grabbing notification (I'm on Android, I don't know if you can do similar on Apple), which is pretty ridiculous really.

Of course, if you haven't turned on any other notifications from your doorbell, and don't get any other notifications from the Home app, then you can just change the sound to something else and it will function the way you want (unless of course the volume on your phone is turned right down).

Can I change the tone or get a louder alert for the nest doorbell battery on the iphone.  It is so quiet.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm afraid this feature is not available. The closest feature is changing its tone if your phone permits you to.

We understand that this feature will be helpful to you and we appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us. I'll pass this along to the appropriate team. Let me know if I can assist with anything else, otherwise I’ll be locking this thread after 24 hours.

Regards,

Steve
