Google nest cam battery view on TCL Google TV

I have two Google Cam Battery Outdoor cameras. I also have a TCL Google TV. I thought I read that you can now view the latest Google cam on Google TV Chromecast. When I try to view on tv my tv says something about not a valid display device. Has anyone been able to get this to work?

Hi Johnc82,

Do you have a Chromecast with Google TV device? I think this feature has only been released on the devices that plug into HDMI ports.

Do you happen to know if you can uninstall the YouTube App on the Google TV device that plugs into HDMI? I would also like to set a pin to be able to access it to prevent kids from getting on it.

Hi folks,

Thanks for your help here, Cathal_S.

You may check the support page of YouTube TV to look for the steps about removing the YouTube app on your Google TV. You can also request a call from their support team below the web page.

Let me know how it goes.

Cheers,

JT
