Nest hello doorbell wired camera .

I don't receive any notification when someone presses the door bell button on my phone. I haven't for ages either on my pixel 3xl ( 2years ) now on my new pixel 6 .I get notifications on movement but no immediate notification to show someone is waiting at the door...
Every component is Google or nest.
I get immediate notifications on the 2 next home hubs and home hub max displays and 8 nest speakers ..but then I'm at home to see/ hear these ..if I'm out ..nothing alerts me .
I do eventually get a notification of movement but that could be several minutes ( up to an hour) later .
The nest outdoor camera ,I get alerts very quickly....
Very disappointed that there is only push notification on movement , sound ,parcel etc but nothing specific for the pressing of the button.......
I may have found the solution.
Pixel settings has an individual settings for app notifications.... Unbelievably the only setting that was turned off was for the doorbell ??? This must be a default settings as I have never seen this before????
