Hello
my doorbell is peeling, I initallly thought I had nt removed the film but now realise it is a fault with the unit, it is no longer in warranty. I have tried to contact Google but have had no luck getting anywhere, I cannot afford to purchase a replacement unit is there anything Google can do to help me?

You have lots of company. There are over 370 posts in this forum about peeling Google Nest Hello Doorbells. Google Nest says they "cannot" replace them if they are past warranty in spite of the design flaw. Like many other customers, we bought a silicone skin on Amazon to cover the peeling shards, which fortunately do not extend to the doorbell's button on ours.

I think the Google support is terrible it’s not like it’s a £20 product it’s over £200.

I don’t wish to send feedback via my Google I would like an appropriate response for an issue with a poorly made product, not a sarcastic reply where you are basically mocking me!
there are other cases were there doorbells had been replaced out of warranty no issue, why is this any different?
I also have a nest subscription I don’t know why you are being so unhelpful.

I understand your point but this product has been manufactured faulty it should be made to withstand outside weathers etc and should last longer than 2 years without the coating deteriorating.
I have many Google products and I am disappointed with the lack of support from Google. As you see from the above comment this is an ongoing fault with these doorbells.
I await your response.
